If you compare "Space Wars 2 Powerpoints" with the original game, you quickly realize that the Developer have opted for an optimized design, which is now a whole lot cuter. You can like that or not. I personally think the new look is very successful. Even if the playing field seems unusual at first glance, it is actually not that difficult to explain the gameplay. At least the actual main task. Because in combination with the many special features of the game, it gets a bit complicated over time.

The game starts with a 6 x 6 grid, which can grow as the game progresses. Your task is to land several identical symbols within a cluster by spinning the reels. As soon as you land such a combination, it dissolves. New symbols then fall from above in place of the winning symbols, which in the best case scenario can of course ensure further winnings. As soon as you win, a special display is filled with so-called Powerpoints, which also gave the game its suffix. The more Powerpoints you collect, the more comprehensive the multiplier available for this turns out to be. You can see the current progress at any time above the playing field. In this way, you can secure a maximum of a 3x multiplier, which of course boosts your winnings considerably.

What I particularly liked here was the eponymous Powerpoints function, with which you can unlock free spins and a multiplier of up to 3 times. But the improved presentation of the game and the many new bonus features also convinced me. However, the latter are of a very diverse nature, so that inexperienced players in particular are likely to lose track at first. However, once you have dealt with the game a little and ideally tested it extensively in demo mode, you would prefer not to return to classic slots at all. I have a very clear recommendation for this successful alien fun.
